Terms of Use — Halaba

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Halaba app ("the App", "we"), a platform for booking sports fields that connects users with field owners. By using the App you agree to these Terms in full; if you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the legal age in your country, your use must be supervised and consented to by your parent or guardian.

3. Account & Sign-in

• Sign-in is via your phone number and a one-time code (OTP) sent over WhatsApp or SMS.
• You are responsible for keeping your verification code confidential and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information (name, city, phone number).

4. Nature of the Service

Halaba is an intermediary platform that lets you discover and book sports fields offered by their owners. We do not own or operate the fields, and the contract to use a field is between you and the field owner. The service is provided "as is" and features may change or be discontinued from time to time.

5. Bookings & Payments

• When you confirm a booking, you accept the field owner's terms for the time, duration, and displayed price.
• Payments occur through third-party payment provider apps or direct transfer, with payment proof (a screenshot) uploaded in the App. We do not process or store card numbers.
• Confirming field availability and price accuracy is the responsibility of the field owner.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies are set individually by each field owner. Please review the cancellation terms shown at booking. Halaba is not responsible for amounts paid directly to a field owner.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Create fake bookings or manipulate the system.
• Impersonate others or use data that is not yours.
• Attempt unauthorized access to, or disrupt, our systems.

8. Ratings & Reviews

When you post a rating or review, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the App. Your reviews must be honest and free of abusive or unlawful content, and we may remove any content that violates these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights to the App, its trademark, and its content (excluding user-generated content) belong to us. They may not be copied or reused without prior written permission.

10. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for the quality of fields, the conduct of their owners, or any dispute that arises between you and them.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Halaba is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages or losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

12. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may also request deletion of your account at any time via the Account Deletion page.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time and will post changes on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Iraq. (Please confirm the competent jurisdiction before publishing.)
